I'm loving this event just because of all the Maple weapons I'm getting. I'm only doing one run per day on 3-4 characters, but that still gets me at least two weapon drops each, so 6-8 Maple weapons if I complete all the runs. 
(Today I didn't finish two of them -- exited early accidentally on one guy, and ran out of time on my Bandit because he's only level 32.) Even without fusing them, I've got one that was epic upon reveal, and I have enough doubles of weapons I actually care about that I can fuse them if their stats suck.
Oh yeah, and getting a level per day from the quests is pretty cool. I only play for two hours a day so it's still fast.
