It seems like it HAS to be obito now... despite it being completely out of character from what we saw. If it is obito, the impact on the plot is a grand total of 0 for every character except Kakashi, which would be an awful lot of wasted buildup.

oh I was talking to the middle part of his statement (the part with getting Obito's eye from his corpse). Hence the "the body may be too damaged to get the eye out".

But shusui is cool too.
