I just use the Windows calculator that came with my Window XP. Hasn't failed me yet.
1) Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Calculator
or Run... -> calc
2) View->Scientific. If you use "Standard" view you will get the wrong answer.
3) Type in the problem exactly as she gives it (asterisk for multiplication sign, obviously)
4) Copy the answer into the text window.
5) Pass
