I found a workaround for (16) - Character is unable to perform virtually all actions after attempting to summon a Familiar, that doesn't involve relogging.

You can still talk to NPCs using NPC Chat key, and if you speak to the Monster Park Shuttle and head on over to Monster Park your character will no longer be glitched. I only summon Familiars in towns with MP Shuttle now because of this.

Another option is if you are in a map where a party member going through a portal brings you through too, you can perform all actions normally again. Discovered this in PPQ.
