Is that really a bad thing? I would find it awesome they can do something like that. If nothing else, it'd show the fandom in a better light and will also be another awesome moment for the Bronies. I can't remember the last time fans made an entire, for example, Simpsons or Avatar episode with their own two hooves. The moment the whole thing comes out, I'm downloading the hay out of it.
