Moderation Enforced

That question does not have any relation to what's occurring here.

What's occurring is you're clearly inciting them to argue with you. It doesn't have to be relevant to the discussion you are having. You're making this moderation because people constantly evaded bans and continued to post in bragging threads, and people like rya and their inflated ego continued to post flame bait and picked fights, and you want to prevent it before it happens, yet you are acting not much better yourself by defending your own actions with words that aren't going to do anyone favors. You see what you posted?

Because the people most vehemently against change in general and any form of moderation at all are the ones protesting this change as usual and throwing in every other thing that annoyed them too as examples of why this is another step down the road to ruin.

That is not going to make people stop arguing with you, that is going to make them defend their own position and will escalate the argument. This is flame bait, one of the things that this new moderation was, in a sense, dedicating to stop. This discussion should have never happened and you shouldn't have let it go any further.
