Moderation Enforced

I don't understand why people are making a big deal over this. It took me about 10-20 minutes to get my post approved in said thread. Now I understand this was during a busy time of the day, but still, it doesn't matter to you if you don't see your own post right away. Only con I see is that it may slow discussion down a tad.

Some people are arguing that it forces moderators to do more work, but the way I see it, they have to do less work. Example, Person A says something, Person B doesn't like it, so they get mad and start arguing, a few hours later, there are pages of them fighting back and forth, cussing each other out. A moderator sees, and he/she would have to take care of both the offenders.
But, if this system was in place, a moderator would just have to deny the first post that would have started this entire mess, with one click of a button.

Except now they have to do work for the people who aren't making a mess.
