Anyone who is on the way left or right of this decision (this is dumb/this is needed) (with exception of mods, obviously) should really wait and see how it actually is before making an opinion.
That said i personally don't like the idea of pre-moderation for several reasons, many of which were already said. It discourages discussion/makes the thread more about what it's originally for, it "punishes" those who contribute, and above all unless the mods are literally browsing all the time or have alerts sent to them about new posts to ok, it takes away from one of the things southperry is good for, speedy responses (something braggers obviously want/enjoy as fast as possible, which is the whole reason people post there).
It's not like letting people post freely will lead to a meltdown of the internet either. If the issue is ban evasion, i don't understand how pre-moderation for bragging threads is a fix. If an evader wanted to evade, all he would have to do is not post in those threads until he/she was eventually perma'd again. There's only been like 2 people to do that multiple times and annoying both users and mods with this crap rather than just the mods dealing with situations only to prevent drama caused by not even a few people is, as others have said, silly.
Also, this is why we need a pomegranate button.
