& as you say, hp scrolling isn't effective. That's why I keep saying you should add base hp :?
But that's the problem! As I said before, we need to have 2 secondary stats for us to be able to survive at those bosses. If most equips were like your case, STR (archers) would add hp like int does... But it doesn't. Equips like the HT pendant give you like 32 acc... and the extra STR. We only get the LUK (hermit talking here), since the dex is already useless if you hit 100%. Not even a hp boost.
If the HT pendant gave... dunno... 200 hp when scrolled? It'd even out. I even wear my pirate helmet, that gives 125 hp scrolled with 100%, and hh would 1 hit KO me without it (not blaming that boss: You need to have a good KB rate and a bit of strategy depending on the map, just making a comparation). Not to mention the balrogs at the ship...
Not trying to defend myself, just stating that adding hp isn't really a solution... Unless you hp wash.
