Gms has an insane amount of portal latency compared to Kms, which not only slows down the run, but also messes with the 9 second spawn timer, further slowing the run down.
I believe gms times are about 1-2 minutes slower in general, even the best ones.

oh, trust me, before the nerf I was hitting caps left and right, and I had latency.
I got one of my korean friends to try and dojo for me, and he only managed to budge it down with 2 minutes or so.
