NOT true. Churches like any other organization dont get taxed on items they buy for specific use for the church. As are any sales, its a nonprofit for a reason, anything the buy have to be seen as neccssities. Also vehicles are hit by a dmv income tax not a state income tax. From my experience the dmv doesnt take nonprofit certificates. And all those purchases are scrutinized by field auditors by yearly, cus state paid legalization has to make sure they arent exploiting the certificate.
