Well, that doesn't make sense. How can they get people to bother with new classes if they're going to be restricting what characters you can give Link Skills to?
I would assume the decision would then be based on how much you actually like them than what tangible benefits you can get from making one, you know, like how it was prior to Blessing, Link Skills, and Character cards.
I don't know for sure, since I have yet to see for myself, but I'm pretty sure you can share the Kaiser link anyway, but you can't give link skills to him.
