Dunno if this was mentioned, but the one thing that really ticked me off was when they implemented that anti-bot thing where exp and item drops get cut after straying too far from the monster's level. I mean, the way you could train or farm monsters anywhere at any level is one of the things that really hooked me about maplestory. It's really annoying to have to kill myself if i'm about to over level monsters if I want to continue farming there. I don't even know if it helped with the botting, but it annoys me to this day.
