A few seconds of a boss wailing on you doesn't really change much in the grand sceme of things. Unless someone is unlucky and just happens to burn all his pots as the last head dies and he dies because of too many def.ups. >_> Probably would be res'd anyway.
It adds to the challenge in a way, though, if it was just constant wailing on a boss, then bosses wouldnt really be bosses. Though Onyx Apples have pretty much eliminated all challenge to any bosses anyway ._.
