He doesn't actually have to dash already though, the mere threat of him dashing in can zone your opponents. There are still mids that can't do much against him like Brand or Malzahar. Kassadin will have to actually get to 6. A plus point is that he'll probably be able to outduel the other anti mids that you listed too. I think he'll even beat Talon in how viable he is there because he does have innate sustain. Something which really comes in handy melee vs ranged.
