I would be super hyped if it turned out that instead of running away from the fight, Phantom was actually going on a revenge-fueled spree across Maple World to find Orca and Suu/Lotus.

So Phantom = Haseo...?

Oh, I can just see it. Phantom driven to insanity, relentlessly seeking out his beloved's murderer...

Would you look at that. They're both "Thief"-type classes to boot. Hmm.

Haseo from .hack//G.U. is an Adept Rogue, able to "copy" the fighting style of up to three other classes in the MMO "The World". Haseo chose Twin Blades (Dual Swords), Edge Punisher (2H Sword) and Flick Reaper (Scythe).

Looks like Phantom and Haseo are more similar than they appear at first glance...
