Not suing you, just trying to explain why everyone chose the first option.
"cannot resist", to most people, means frequent and large failures. "I am trying to stick to my diet, but cannot resist chocolate" doesn't apply to me if I ate a dozen m&m's three months ago. It applies to people who eat chocolate whenever it is available, daily at least, ounces at a time.
