I never meant to imply it was Magnus. I meant to imply that it could be Magnus' offspring. To say that "this is not even close to the magnus concept from before" is absolutely absurd. Change Magnus to Red and you almost have this guy identically. This new guy has advanced armor, but the swordstyle is identical and his race is the same.
My whole point was that the story COULD be Magnus + Gwaru = Draconic.
