Went clothes shopping today. I thought for sure that dropping almost 50 pounds would make a sizable difference in the clothing that I buy.
NOPE.
Turns out that I, most certainly, have loose skin, and that is stopping me from buying tighter clothes. The loose skin is causing my fat to be stored along the apron of my belly. This forces me to go with a bigger pant size than without loose skin. So it totally sucked to have to increase my pant size because I'm losing weight. So I walked out of the department store with size 60 pants because of my loose skin.
I'm not mad at myself because I have loose skin. I simply have to accept this as reality and reality states I need a good pair of slacks.
At least the pants fit really nicely. There was a bit of a sticker shock at buying two pairs of slacks for $200, but I need good slacks to wear for sure.
