Far be it from me to ascribe any kind of higher intelligence to Nexon's actions, but they wouldn't want to create a standard where they tell people what glitches or hacked gear they intend to fix. It would permit players to take every advantage FM can throw at them and only drop such things when Nexon tells them. Instead, Nexon would want everyone assuming all glitches and hacks are bad and will be fixed, and not use them. It's essentially a false expectation they want to create, but that uncertainty contributes to less glitch exploitation overall.
And it ensures that at least sometimes exploiters are punished for their actions, instead of always being able to bail out.
