@IImaplers I think you're being a bit too stubborn about this. It's not a black and white issue about greed and generosity. If anything, the time he took out of his day and the trust he had to invest in the renters would be what he was payed for. Every renter knew something like this would happen sooner or later. In this case, it just happened to be sooner; however, that is not grounds to call out the one who supplied people, who very likely begged for the skill rents, and expect him to give back the money they knew full well was being used on a gamble.
Almost makes it seem like he did it out of the goodness of his heart, when it's so obviously simple profit. Profit and nothing else. I probably should be arguing against the "merchanter's mentality" and the greed in this game in general, so again I am sorry for singling people out. Maybe I'm too passionate/generous myself to understand any different, but let's not call a tree anything other than a tree. I'm not going to comment on this issue here any further.
