What....the...hell? They really did cut out that scene! Nanami doesn't come to his house to explain the earthquake, it's supposed to be done by cell! Gah. They get rid of some of the best parts, and add in crap like the digger. By the way, when Takumi's comp was in BSOD, he made much more commotion in the VN than he did in the Anime. I was surprised to hear him, almost in a calm manner, say "I'm finished".
Thoughts about anime and visual novel:
Spoiler
The begining isn't supposed to be about the characters and such. It's really supposed to be about "shogun", and how everything is effecting him. NOZUMI(or whatever) isn't the main plot under AFTER Takumi really understands what's going on. I still love the scene where Takumi get's his Di-Sword. The main theme(off-vocal) plays, and it's just badass. Although that scene was followed by the ever creepy Hazuki scenes. *Shudders*
Felix, I do remember that scene, and damn, I didn't know it would be her hand. It was just, shocking, to see that after he opened his eyes. It made the email make more sense though.
My Suwa theory:
Suwa is part of NOZOMI, and thus, is trying to get Takuya to awaken because they need his awakened form to get his CODE sample. So he used his mask and pretended to be Shogun (Which he apparently knew from NOZOMI, judging from the time in the chat when "Grim"(Hazuki) stated "Hi Lord Shogun" in the chat.") Shogun really didn't do much, but I think it's because he wasn't able to do much. He needed Takumi to awaken, but he couldn't use too much of his power to enable him to awaken or else he would've died. I wasn't too shocked when it was revealed that they were both Takumi, especially when they foreshadow it in the VN (Which I loved, how they had the beat everytime something was revealed. It made me jump on certain occasions.). Although I was relieved when it was shown that Takumi II wouldn't die when the real one did. Although being in a coma for a year, wow.
In all, I love how the VN foreshadowed and told stuff, and it had it's appropriate moments of songs. Still, "Let me pass" scares the hell out of me. Dunno why.
I'd be willing to chat whenever if you want. IMO, Chaos; Head is an awesome series, although the anime version is seriously lacking in presentation.

...Oh frick-
I totally missed that line. That explains quite a few things.
However, I am still not quite sure how tied together Hazuki and Suwa are. What's with the scene where he comes and asks her for Takumi's file? They were alone, so if they knew each other, why did they act like they didn't? What's with them?
I know they are both puppets to NOZOMI (especially seeing as Hazuki is a Porter later)...but what the heck? It's pretty clear which murders Hazuki committed and which Suwa committed - but what was the point? I understand that almost all of the murders affect Takumi in some way, some more directly than others, but were Hazuki and Suwa doing a type of planning together or simply taking orders from Norose/NOZOMI?
I think what I'm trying to get at it is... Was NOZOMI's plan really much more deep than the VN explicitly explains? I think the VN makes it so a lot about Suwa + Hazuki has to be figured out on our own, don't you? I'm also quite curious how two young people like Suwa and Hazuki could have been so corrupted by NOZOMI...
---
Honestly, I wasn't that surprised when they revealed Shogun was the real Takumi, either. I was kinda like, The heck, how? But then it quickly made sense to me and fit very well.
---
Another thing I'm wondering: Takumi put Nanami's hand in his fridge right after that incident occurred. Rimi was the one that got it and brought it back to Shogun, yes? How'd she know to? Just by chance of going there and looking? Shogun somehow being aware of what happened and telling her to? What? Did I miss something again >_>?
