Aura of the Beholder's nice, but I can live without it. Aura sometimes actually messes with your potting. I sometimes pot and Aura would coincidentally activate at the same time and I'd end up being above the Berserk threshold. The healing itself is nice to have though.
I don't have any points in Hex of the Beholder as of now, but by inference the usefulness of this skill isn't too great. I'd rather have the 15% damage reduction from Achilles than the 80 W.Def and M.Def, 20 Acc, and 40 Avoid at Lv20 (I don't plan to get the attack pot killer). You'd have to wait 40 years for me to level 20-30 times before I can tell you anything from experience about that skill though.
