If you use too many of one, the other side's attacks will get stronger and the one your are using will get weaker. That means if you want to do the most damage, you can't spam one attack.
In this SS, the guy has been using a lot of Dark skills so the game is telling him to use Light skills.
Know what this reminds me of? Moonkins from WoW with the Eclipse mechanic. Dohoho.

"The Eclipse mechanic is now available to all Druids who have specced into Balance, and is active while the Druid is in caster or Moonkin forms. Casting Wrath will cause the Druid to gain 13 Lunar Energy; casting Starfire will cause the Druid to gain 20 Solar Energy. Casting Starsurge will give 15 Lunar or Solar Energy, depending on which the Druid has more of. When cast while an Eclipse buff is active, Starsurge will always cause the bar to move toward zero. The spell will trigger one of two buffs when Lunar Energy or Solar Energy has reached 100. Eclipse (Solar) or Eclipse (Lunar) will stay active until Wrath or Starfire has been cast enough to move the pointer back to zero.
The Eclipse procced by Wrath is called Lunar Eclipse, whereas Starfire procs Solar Eclipse."
Wheeeee.
