What's this about 'Perfect World'? Someone who plays it, tell me.

You never listen to what I say or what? Rolleyes -pulls cheek.

Overall thought on PW:
  • Graphics are nice.
  • Character customination[sp?] options is very fun.
  • EXP rate is horrible.
  • At level 20-ish, it is essential to get into parties since monsters become a pain in the [bottom]. Solo'ing is boring anyways.
  • Quests are horribly long and repeatitive.

Skills:
  • To be able to raise your skills mastery level. you have to level up more than once to be able to. e.g. Plume Shot: Levels requiered: 2, 5, 9, 15, 21, etc.
  • To be able to activate certain skills. You have to do quests. Pretty much like Maple Story's 4th job skills.
  • Certain skills requierres the use of Chi. It is a complementary energy bar similar to MP. The only way to gain Chi is to use passive or offensive skills on monsters.
  • Also, to be able to gain skill mastery, you have to collect a variable number of Spirit Points. e.g. Level 1 Plume Shot = 500 Spirit Points. Level 2 Plume Shot = 1500 Spirit Points. Spirit Points are gained via quests and killing monsters.

Classes:
  • Humans, Barbians, Winged Elves

Humans: <~~ Cursed to depend on their legs until level 30.
    - Warriors
    - Wizard

    Barbians:
    - Half human, half animals

    Winged Elves:
    - Clerics
    - Archers

/quoting ItzTaylor: Werewolves have mounts. Winged Elves have access to the flying skill immediately at level 1 when others have to wait until level 30.

World Map:
  • Maps are HUGE. It can happen you have to walk for over 5-10 minutes to be able to reach the next town. Then again, when reaching a new town, you can activate the town's teleportation system. You have to talk to the Teleport Master to be able to move around the world map or else you fly/walk again. No town scrolls either, except for Nearest Town Scroll.

Ability Points:
  • You get 5 stat points each level-up. You have 4 base stats: MAG, DEX, STR, VIT. MAG increases your mana pool and regeneration, magical damage, and allows you to use weapons and robes. DEX gives you a higher critical rate, evasion and allows you to wear light armor. VIT increases your hitpoints and hitpoint regeneration. STR allows you to wear items.

Equips:
  • As for equips, there are multiple kinds of gear. Each one of them requierres a different AP distribution.
  • For example, Cleric:
    - Heavy Armor, higher DEF, less Elemental DEF, requierres more STR than Light
    - Light Armor, poor DEF, higher Elemental DEF
    - Normal Armor, decent DEF and Elemental DEF, requirres more STR than Light

    - Light Armor requirres a 6 MAG, 2 STR and 2 DEX AP distribution over 2 levels which gives you 10 APs by 2 levels.

    - Other gears depends on which build you want to make: Highly offensive build (9 MAG, 1 STR), Offensive build (7-8 MAG, 1 STR, 1-2 VIT), Balanced build (6 MAG, 1 STR, 3 VIT)
  • Equips can be forged. You need to activate the Manifacturin Skills and that, via quests.

Other stuff:
  • There are PvP and PvE options available.

That's about it on my knowledge of the game. LOL
