Something that we’ve wanted to experiment with is the idea of having more public Tribunal cases where we can have an open dialog with the community about the details of a specific case and why it might have gone the way it did. One challenge with this is that there are definitely privacy concerns with this, and we would never desire to make a spectacle out of someone’s punishment.

However – on occasion players decide to opt-in to public conversations about their Tribunal cases, including this recent example: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/show...?t=2243272

The arrangement we made is that if the Community believes he deserves to be punished he has to write individual apology letters to every person on his team in each of the games in his recent Tribunal case. If the Community does not believe he deserves to be punished then his suspension will be lifted.

It’s up to you decide whether or not to uphold the Tribunal verdict or overturn it. We’ll use your discussion and feedback in this thread to help guide future improvements to the Tribunal and behavior handling.

I have attached the three games from the original Tribunal case for your browsing. Please be aware that the screenshots contain inappropriate language.

The person who was in the original Tribunal case is going to try to defend himself - Note that anything not included in what I have posted may not be true or may not have happened.

 My verdict

I looked at what the "suspect" posted in his "challenge" to Pendragon, and I knew that the "suspect" was outright lying to the community. No one gets a 2 week ban unless they were repeat offenders (and haven't changed their behavior), and I knew this guy was hiding something.

Punish

After looking at the first screenshot, the "suspect" in question wasn't making things right by spewing out negative attitude to other teammates, promoting a toxic playing environment in the process. He definitely deserved to be punished.

I also took a look at the second and third screenshots, and those solidified my "verdict" to "punish" him for his behavior. Not once did he offer constructive criticism; he simply was being negative towards others as well as members of the opposing team for every little thing that went wrong.
