I absolutely love the previous generation pokemon showing up in this game, look at the possible team set ups:
A lot of these pokemon are ones i've never used before. I mean come on, Sunkern? I've always wanted a Sunflora but by the time i get one in a game i'm too far into it for the pokemon to actually be useful, same with Magby/Elekid. Being able to evolve them as i'm going through the game will be awesome.
Koffing and Magnemite are also pokemon that i haven't used since i played Pokemon Red around 10 years ago
