Somewhat unrelated, as my Maple Story characters and PIN was untouched, but someone hacked my Nexon accounts, changed my passwords (Was able to reset passwords and reclaim my accounts.), and reset my Vindictus PINs.
My characters weren't even stripped, since I can still see them even though I can't get in until Nexon answers my ticket. Odd.
And the only Vindictus websites I visit are the official site (Only to read announcements, I log in through client.), VindictusDB, and VindictusHQ. They're not keylogger sites. And I don't use the passwords for my Nexon accounts for anything other than my Nexon accounts. They couldn't have gotten my password, let alone my PIN, by hacking VindictusHQ.
In other words, Nexon NA has pomegranate for security. They really need to get a secure server like everyone else.
That, or Nexon's database screwed up, and that's what caused the password and PIN issues.
