The way you have him designed he'd be terrible early game because all of his spells are AoE, which aren't that good early game, transitioning into basically a wave clearer lategame because the ratios are terrible. Oh, and an unkillable wave clearer because of how much HP it is. There's only one mage with a damaging stat -> health ratio and that's Vlad because he's got relatively short range and health cost spells.
