Corn stinx.
Got to lvl48. Did not realize how much exp could be gained from WvWvW ― it's ridiculous. Some guy got to lvl65, too, and shares my ideas. Lvl 1~30 through PvE if you're unable to WvWvW consistently and then more WvWvW. There are also skill points in WvWvW.
Also, explorable mode for Ascalon Catacombs is BS.
iirc, devs said they are/have been tweaking thieves as well.
Also, who cares if you're the same class as your friend. Warriors have the biggest pool of weapons to choose from and I'm sure your utility skills will be different. Every Engineer I've seen has been doing something different. I think I'm the only one I've seen using the bomb kit. ;x

Quote:Ranger doesn't seem like it'd do too well, cause the enemies all come charging at you with one ranged attack, so I don't know how you're supposed to keep damaging, while also running from the impending doom...Pets. Their AI is really derpy still, but they're what makes a Ranger a Ranger in this game. Bears are easily the best pets in PvE, especially since Drakes got nerfed with Ranger trait changes.
