Had a freaking fantastic day.
Took my niece and nephew to the beach, invited Jess and she... actually came. Most of my past boyfriends would never do that. She was even great with the kids, and they loved her. Took my niece into the water which was a horrible mistake because it was pretty cold, haha. Got some nice colouring, too. And finally, the best part, is that because we were with kids, no creepy dudes tried hitting on us. Being a single mom is apparently the greatest repellant of all time.
