Maybe only the extreme basics (how to figure out paths), but not learning the real skill. And no, WW isn't a champ you can ignore easily, he scales quite well. :/Once WW blows his load, you can pretty much ignore him.
raizoo Wrote:I think learning to jungle with someone who has natural sustain is a bad idea and all the champs you've suggested are tanky to boot. I pretty much agree with Stonewall saying Jarvan is great for a beginner ― he doesn't have an amazingly fast clear time, his item build will depend on the enemy and what his team needs, his stand/flag is like a mini-ward and he can also gank in different ways. I don't know anyone else who can go from that cliff straight down to river bush. Fizz is like 2~3 Teemos away from being able to do it iirc. However Udyr, Dr. Mundo, and Trundle are also all versatile junglers with fast clear times, and sustain. That's the reason I picked those three. I don't think Jarvan is bad, but he may be a bit complex to start with.
raizoo Wrote:Oh, that's not what I really meant. It seems to be very difficult for Lanewick to come back if he gets destroyed at top since he's a bit slow at clearing waves. At least Lanedyr is tanky, but I wonder how WW would have done if he tried that.I'm not entirely sure what they video is supposed to be. All I see is an Udyr getting wrecked by Bob and his team has the brains to keep up with him. :| I'm probably not paying well enough attention though.
raizoo Wrote:What happened to situation situation situation? (*/∇\*)But there is virtually no situation where Garen is appropriate. If you need a Brusier, virtually every other one does it better. If you need a tank (wat) all of them do it better. There is just no reason to take Garen. There are much better early-game champs that can teach more, and better, than Garen.
Early-game champs are great for people learning the lanes! Lower level elo is all about stomping your lane and damaging the morale of the enemy team. Unless you're Teemo because everyone just wants to kill you for some weird reason.
Aynia: Just because you can make him "good" doesn't mean he is good. And no, I don't do 1v1s, those are stupid given the fact it's a team game. And if I did decide to, I would simply pick a counter to Garen (or a character that scales).
