What, no FFXIII-2 thread? POTENTIAL SPOILERS

This battle is intense as hell.

I take back everything i said in my last post.

After getting a 5 star rank on Caius, he transforms into his Chaos Bahamut form, kill that form with a 5 star rank... and you unlock the secret-absolutely final ending.

I am not disappointed.

SEQUEL HOOK, SEQUEL HOOK!

This is wrong. Any rank on the Chaos Bahamut battle works. I got a 4 star and then a 1 star (level 10 lol) and then a 5 star and it was all the same.

I'm a little confused by that ending.

 Spoiler

It seems like it was Lightning and Serah that caused the world to merge with Valhalla instead of Noel "killing" Caius, which I would assume explains why he was still alive. Perhaps Lightning was not just Etro's guardian, but instead an actual embodiment. So when Lightning allowed herself to turn to crystal, it was she who removed the Goddess from the world, allowing Valhalla to seep in. This would mean that Serah's death and final wishes were the actual trigger, as it is what drove Lightning's decision. And Caius had planned every step of this. He knew that if Serah sacrificed herself that Lightning would give up, but the only way that Serah could die in that manner would be if her "time" as a seer ran out.

Anyone agree with that analysis?

Edit: Nevermind what I just said to Razmos. There's an extra scene if you get a 5 star ranking after the credits. What a teaser.
