In the aizen arc. its the big fusion thing of the 3 sisters that the Gotei commander had to slice in half to save the vice captains.
Why I say it's interesting is because of how strong it makes them, ichigo couldn't even cut him with his blade, then able to absorb such a large amount reishi that clearly was overwhelming them all was suddenly stopped by the hollow that was so easily defeated? Power up much..
So once again we're at ichigo being vulnerable and having to power up.
