@ Horusmaster: Well, as mentioned by Kasu I live in the province of Quebec [not to confuse with Quebec City]. There are a few points that you stated and that are true, such as the lower salary and the higher cost of life. Then again, the government invests a lot into the people [assurances, scholarships, etc.]. Also, it is true that French is the state's main language, but Montreal is a metropole. There are english schools and etablishments. You'd be surprised that over 50% of Montrealers speak fluently English and French. I happened to encounter people who can only express themselves in English too.
