Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)

Well, the quincy "Bankai" is actually a pretty double edged sword. Once they activate it, they lose the ability to be able to use their powers for a long time. The Quincy Bankai buffs them to the point where they're well passed captain level though, in terms of reiatsu, raw power, and speed.

I severely doubt that this is the case as either they've learned to retain their powers such as ichigo with final getsuga, or the king can just give them their powers back if they activate their "bankai". This dude seems too confident for his powers to disappear like that.
