Whenever a class is restricted it comes back either nerfed to hell like demon slayers did the first time, or comes back buffed. Evan is already amazing, I expect the former and I'm frustrated. The constant revamps were cool when they first started doing them years ago, but over time the balance of power has shifted more times than we can count and it's becoming annoying for people who have gotten into a class that is considered very good or that they enjoy playing. That's especially true for buccanneers and corsairs who are getting the most significant revamp to date, since the entire concepts of both classes are being thrown out the window a lot of them seem pretty angry. They need to just buff the classes that are weaker in dps and stop raising certain ones up only to have them come crashing back down.
