let me nitpick here
and say i don't have a single duped equip :U i used duped scrolls, and for the dominator, duped ingredients, but all of my equips are "one of a kind" so to speak, not that it matters or was your point.
we're annoyed that hackers downed it because... well, it's hackers, simple as that, even when i was a little nub that couldn't even go into cwkpq without fear of dying, i've been annoyed at hackers doing this kind of stuff (PB, CHT, etc), but it has nothing to do with it being an achievement or not, it has to do with them being hackers.
@above: you're wrong, mainly because it's not hackers that stain the achievements or whatever, but the fact that anyone that declares himself as legit, WILL have to have dealt with duped something at some point.
