1) Personal opinion that Nintendo is moronic for not using N. Why'd they drop that N was off in some other land? Maybe to conclude his storyline? "Here you go guys, N left! He's done for now!"

2) Err.... I think that's too much speculation. :x We know virtually nothing about Kyurem and its story really and we are given virtually nothing about it. But even going off of the "Black Kyurem absorbed Zekrom" argument, N of course would have to do something with it as he summoned Zekrom. He may have played no direct role, but regardless he played an indirect role because he whipped Zekrom out.

The end was obviously and clearly a cliff hanger for the next plot. This game is going to be garbage.
