Pokemon Black and White 2-Now with a sexy rival.

i actually thought the early postgame of b/w was fairly challenging, because everything immediately jumped in levels to 6x when the e5 were ~5x... and there was no way to beat e5 a 2nd time without massive grinding or going through the rest of the cities cuz they jumped to 7x.

up till then was a breeze though :/
the experience gain revamp didnt make overleveling a sweeper harder, it made it easier to keep the rest of your team closer in levels
