Braces be gone!

Eh, i'm a bit unlucky. When I was smaller one of my adult teeth got knocked out on my mouth completely. Naturally, it didn't grow back, so i'm stuck with a gap in my mouth (It's the tooth to the left of the two big teeth in the front on the top row.) I've had a dummy tooth there ever since I got braces, and now it's on the retainer. If I take it out then it looks like I have a gap there again, makes me self-consious. So i've gotta leave it in till the dentist is done moving all the crap around my mouth with the retainer, then he's just gonna glue a tooth in there till i'm old enough to get an implant.
