Exactly what in their past years has ever given any indication Nexon even crests the event horizon of being a "good" company?
I don't think they can even see "good" from where they're positioned.
Well, that's why I said it was up to Nexon. I simply implied that they had the option to listen to player feedback rather than sit back and ignore everything.
Eos Wrote:Incidentally your math is wrong on the more money thing too. Or rather you've missed the base part.
As long as the majority are happy or oblivious it's not in their best interest to spend money to make them more happy, just to keep them happy enough that they continue paying. They pander to the lowest common denominator because it's the biggest bang for their buck, at the expense of long term satisfaction and growth.
Well, there's a thread linking to Nexon America's profits in the fourth quarter, which dropped by 9% - it just seems like the problems with the game are getting too obvious for everyone to be completely oblivious to. (Hence the constant experience events as compensation for all the problems, perhaps?)
I think the first paragraph of CanonStriker's post on page 3 is pretty well written.
