College is fu'cking expensive.
Also, no response from any of the 20+ scholarships I applied to.
Seriously, how am I supposed to afford 40 grand a year (after aid).

Is it worth asking financial aid offices (obviously in a well-thought out e-mail/letter) for more aid? Or is that considered bad?
My dad looked at the numbers today and flipped shi't saying there was no way he would help pay (or be able to).
Then he asked where we should go for vacation.

Also, you got your financial aid package? Because I seriously can't think of a single university that will expect you to pay 40 grand. Maybe it was easier for me, but federal, merit, and state grants REALLY paid for the majority of my college expenses.
