I put the characters I saw doing the best against her, I equipped things that hit her weaknesses, some human/burn resistance for Hubert and Asbel, and some eleth gauge growth up/down on the two casters. I even ate some food beforehand and set up my mid-battle food (it was revive on KO food). The first 30 seconds or so went great -- she doesn't hit anyone. Then Enemy Eleth Burst. Less than a second in she uses Starlight and one-shots everyone (14k damage). My KO food did not proc.
Fuck this -- plowing through on normal.
Remember when full-screen unavoidable hi-ougis that did absurd damage had the caveat of not being able to kill you (Big Bang, Brave Vesperia, most things Nibilim did)? I miss that.[/spoiler]
I think I've had Starlight kill me once. Make sure the level modifier isn't getting too high. I went into one of those floors under leveled once and ended up not finding enough monsters to keep it at 100% and had to restart since regular fights were lasting upwards of 5 minutes.
