Now, three years later, I couldn't be happier where I am, and don't know if going to Cornell, had I gotten in, would have landed me where I am as quickly or to the same degree. Life has funny ways of working out, and knowing that you've already been accepted to a million schools, I'm sure you'll end up where you're supposed to.
That being said, I'm still massively rooting for you in your fight against Crohn's, which is your most difficult challenge yet, in my opinion. pineappleing disease needs to go die, ruining lives and all.
Honestly, I don't think I would have gone to Cornell even if I did get accepted. I was more disappointed about MIT

And just like you said, I've been accepted to six other great schools, so I'll be happy wherever I go (most likely WPI!).
As for Crohn's, JUST got an e-mail back from the hospital; I have an appointment with the doctor on Tuesday and can start Remicade on Thursday. Perfect timing, too, because there could be side effects in the beginning (from what I understand), and that's the start of Spring Break. Only a week left!
