To get the quest line started, you need to do the very first Edelstein quest with the mayor Bavan. Once you do his first quest, Mir will talk to you and it starts the quest line.
Where everyone is stuck is the next quest with Bavan where you are supposed to get him Bear Meat from the Bear Cart mobs. The item simply doesn't drop.
I hope you realize we were supposed to get it at Birth of the Alliance Patch. Or ar you implying us Evans being the only class that couldn't get the skill and medal?
