Installing Maple Onto Another User
#7
KouseiKibou Wrote:I have tried this. It is very hard (if not impossible) to run two MapleStory.exe files at the same time. GameGuard keeps it from starting up twice, even if it's on another user account.

Virtualization is also really tricky. Maple requires 3D acceleration, which is only now being tackled by the companies. I think VMWare is able to do it, and I know Parallels (mispelled it, I'm sure) can do it on the Mac at least.

Even after that, there's performance issues. However, if you just want to run one as a FM mule, it shouldn't be hard if your computer is around a few years old. MapleStory can run on very limited resources, but don't expect it to be pretty (or fast). I had a old machine (750 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM) as a FM mule and it did the job.

mainly i was gonna leech my pirate with my ranger :| but i do have the option of running it on my uncles comp, but idk if he will like that i have his comp on with no one really using it X_X
