Just need the lingo to be able to speak with non english people.
It's actually pretty easy, and I find (despite the stereotype) that a lot of foreigners are actually quite intelligent at LoL.
Those are all common terms that are enough to get by with and have enjoyable games, regardless of whether they speak english or not.

- Top/Mid/Bot/Jungle (which role you intend to fill)
- SS (means MIA on eu server) coupled with directional pings
- B (means to back off or go to base)
- Drake (dragon)
- Nashor (Big purple dragon guy, gives a nice buff if your team kills it)
Those are all common terms that are enough to get by with and have enjoyable games, regardless of whether they speak english or not.
