Solo'd Crawmerax (as Siren). Took a few tries to start learning his behaviors, but I didn't use the cheesy corner-method at all. Very rewarding, but didn't get anything noteworthy. Buddy and I took him down together a few times prior to that run, and our very first run gave us a Pearlescent shield (Alacritous Rose). No Pearlescents following that one over the next 10 runs or so that we did. MVP weapons of my solo: Skullmasher and a purple Hyperion SMG we found on an earlier run that uses the ricochet bullets and has an absurdly fast fire rate/reload time (something like 12 rounds/second, approaching 16-20 rounds/second with the skills Siren has available). My gear is nowhere near optimal, though - both of those weapons are lower level than I'd like them to be.
I still plan on doing a live stream of a 20 round Underdome challenge (solo) to celebrate my new laptop - I was able to have 3 copies of Borderlands running simultaneously at one point, all on the highest settings, with playable lag (about a half-second delay. It interfered with sniping a bit) so that my buddy and I would get better/more drops from Crawmerax. Kindof tempted now to do a "4-person difficulty solo" Let's Play too. Except it'd be probably 75% deaths and 100% Badass/Bad Mutha/Superbad enemies.. Maybe I'll just do a 2-person difficulty version.
