I joined your game in Dec 06 and played till... well, about last night. I've been a loyal customer, and I put up with all of your alterations. The people around me increasing grew concerned that you were growing concerned solely about money. Few competitive players on Maple buy your "free" pitch at this point. I personally spent roughly $5,000 on your game in my two years here. Your content additions focus around making a craze about items, making those items obsolete with new items, (that must be purchased,) and then repeating the cycle. 10/60 scrolls were replaced with Dark scrolls were replaced with White Scrolls were replaced with Chaos Scrolls were replaced by this Box event, which made Chaos Scrolls common. Equipment grows more godly, but each such wave is your attempt to cause a spending spree by the players. Few of us are appreciating it at this point.

Last night your employee, Lloyd, told the admin of Southperry.net, Fiel, to stop decrypting your upcoming files; when Fiel said he would continue you siced your evil lawyers on his webhost, obliterating over a year of his labor. In this case, unlike private servers, his efforts were not even costing you money. A lot of the community viewed his decryption as part of the hype about your own content. Literally none of us spent less NX because of Fiel, most of us spent MORE because we viewed his efforts as a part of your game and decryption. A sneak peek at your content for the purposes of curiosity that satisfies your clients is not the same as the illegal theft of assets meant for you. You, basically, have become so blind in your greed that you target people that in untenable theory might cause you loss of your damn profits, rather than people in practice causing some loss.

Look, I am a 27 year old grown man with a profession. I am not going to make empty threats or whine. I don't even need to be rude to make my point. But this is unacceptable and somebody needs to tell you this. You're destroying the Maple community that cherishes your game for it seems no reason. The problem you have is that the high lvl Maple community -- those are the big spenders -- is fairly small. I am a 160 lvl bishop that spends NX, my friends are comparable, we all know each other. You might consider that in light of what you did to Fiel, because a lot of people will not give a company money if you destroy their friends for no reason. I've quit Maple over this. I can't justify giving you money at this point. There's more than a product involved here, I no longer consider you as the merchant acceptable to me. Some other people feel like me, a LOT more like you a LOT less, and will probably quit later because of similar actions in the future.


I am seriously eager to see what you'll do when Diablo 3 and stuff comes out. Sugar Rush and Mabinogi are not a successful as Maple. When you lose Maple you'll have nothing, no product, just a bunch of former customers like me, who basically loathe you, in the arms of your competitors. If you want to avoid being loathed by the people who pay you hundreds or thousands of dollars, try treating them like human beings. It's worked for people in the past.

If I could find a better game, Id be gone already too.
